Making the Movie Day 2010

I really want to see the Tree of Life- I hear it is amazing but slow moving. Clearly I am focusing on the amazing part.

I saw Restless City last weekend. Andrew Dosunmu, fellow Brooklyn emerging filmmaker and noted fashion photographer, did a great job.  What Restless City did not have in traditional plot structure, it made up for in photographic beauty, performance and nuance. It is great to see black people beautifully photographed on the big screen.

Hopefully I get to screen at BAM when HWUF is done
